Madison Elementary School, Clarendon Hills Middle School and Hinsdale Middle School have been named 2009 Blue Ribbon Schools by the U.S. Department of Education. The announcement came today from Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.

This is a outstanding  honor for our outstanding district. It speaks to the strength of our students’ performance, a partnership with our parents in the education of our children, and the professionalism of our staff.

A total of 16 Illinois schools were selected as Blue Ribbon Schools for 2009. For more information, visit:
