There Has Been A Spike In Sales Activity In Hinsdale Real Estate

We are 21 days into 2009 and there has already been 13 accepted contracts of detached homes in Hinsdale alone. That almost one a day. The typical sales velocity has been about half that throughout 2008. On a typical month in 2008, about 16 houses had sold in Hinsdale.

Does this mean that the market is changing? Is there a true linear movement up in sales activity? Or is this rash of sales just a blip or mini spike in real estate sales contract activity?

That, I do not know….yet.
