Chicago Is The 4th Most Walkable City In The USA
If you are considering a relocation to Chicago and the place you are living in now is not walkable, this information may urge you to reconsider.
Walkscore is a company which ranks the walkability of a specific city or neighborhood within that city. While we Chicagoans have known that our city and our neighborhoods are extremely walkable, now the rest of the world knows it too. Walkscore has just published a national ranking in the USA where Chicago has ranked #4 in the entire country. This same report ranks 77 of Chicago’s neighborhoods as well.
As a fervent advocate of the tiny villages located in Chicago’s near western suburbs (Western Springs, LaGrange, Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills), what better place to live than in a tiny highly walkable village that is just a half hour from the 4th most walkable city in the country?
If you are considering a job relocation to the Chicago area, you would be remiss not to consider the near western suburbs. I’d be happy to explain why. I can be reached at 630-468-2505 or Bryan@BryanBomba.com
