Five Seasons in Burr Ridge IL Has The Best Swimming Pool In The Western Suburbs
Take advantage of the brief Chicago summer by recreating the right way in Chicago's western suburbs
Without a doubt, Five Seasons has the best swimming pool in the near western suburbs of Chicago. While the municipal swimming pool in Hinsdale was convenient when my kids were very small, it tended to be crowded a lot of the time. In fact, even getting a chair was not always a certainty. However, for $200 per year, it was a slam dunk good deal. And if you’re a big spender, you could always fork over an additional $25 and have the super pass. This allows you to use the Clarendon Hills pool (less than 1/2 a mile away) at will. The curly slide and the music at the Clarendon Hills pool are reported to be superior.
Here’s the deal on Five Seasons of Burr Ridge:
- It’s convenient. Located at Madison Street and Plainfield Road, it’s about 5 minutes from anywhere in Hinsdale.
- Alcohol. Yep. That’s right. You can have an icy cold Corona delivered right to your chaise. Ahhhh.
- Not obnoxiously crowded. Chairs are always available. You can actually see your kids from your chair-since there’s not a sea of people to wade through.
- Food. What good is a Corona if you cannot enjoy it with a grilled chicken salad?
- High speed Internet access. At the pool.
- Reasonable cellular reception. Unlike anywhere in Hinsdale. Along with the Internet access, this makes Five Seasons Burr Ridge a pretty good place to hide out and create the appearance that you’re working.
- Reasonable rates. Right now, the non-tennis family membership is $185/monthly and the tennis family membership is $275/monthly.
